EuroZulu Wildlife Diary – Tuesday 8 January 2013

Weather: Pretty warm out there today, probably reaching around 32 deg. Fortunately there was a fresh breeze to cool things down.

We came across a lazy cheetah sunning herself near marker 24 towards mid morning. She must have eaten recently because she showed no interest in the nearby impalas. Good rhino sightings were plentiful as well as a couple of larger buffalo herds. On the way out of the Park later a small elephant herd was enjoying itself in a watering hole on the corridor road.

Umfolozi Big Five: Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo…. and cheetah.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings: Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino.

General game (impala warthog zebra giraffe etc…..)

Till the next sighting!!!
