EuroZulu Wildlife Diary – Wednesday 21 May 2014

Nice and warm this morning for a change but pretty soon a bank of clouds moved in and the wind picked up strongly. Despite this we were treated to a great lion sighting… a big boy who walked alongside us for about 2km before wandering off into the bush. Later during the morning we witnessed a cheetah and lioness trying to chase down a zebra… a double wammy !! Anyway, both cats missed their target so the zebbie lived to fight another day. We were lucky to have great rhino sightings as well today but the elephants and giraffes decided not to make an appearance. Elsewhere in the Park there was also a wild dog sighting. General Game including warthogs, wildebeest, zebras, baboons and antelopes etc. were out in full force. all in all a great day in the bush!
