Weather : Very cold early morning but mild and breezy later.

Fairly quiet in the bush today although we did spot a cheetah about 200 m away on a ridge near view point 17 in the south. Elephants were scarce although there were reports later in the day of a breeding herd on Sontuli loop. As we left Mpila there was a stunning coloured treeAgama sunning itself. We also had good bird sightings including crested Barbets, Lilac breasted rollers and lappet faced vultures.

Umfolozi Big Five sightings : Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo…. and cheetah.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings : Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo.

General Game : Antelope, Warthog, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Zebra etc.
