A very quiet day in the bush today….but this should not be interpreted as a negative comment. The landscape alone makes a day in the Park worthwhile – it’s just that we had to settle for a day without predators for a change !! There were plenty of elephants, buffaloes and rhinos for us to marvel at however, and the general game was out in force as well. The bird life in the Park has been a little disappointing of late, probably because the Park is so dry. The rivers are just about empty again after the recent rain and another drought crisis looms.
