EuroZulu Safaris – Friday 25 July 2014

As has been the case over the last couple of days we struggled again in the Park today. Although we did have success early on with a lioness trying to bring down a zebra near Masinda Camp there was very little else to see during the course of the morning. Towards midday we did spot two bull elephants splashing themselves down in the Umfolozi river near the Umganu picnic spot. Another two bull elephants were looking for shade as we crested the Nyalazi view point early afternoon. By this time it was very hot and the wind had started to pick up again. General game was again sparse today as were bird sightings.
