EuroZulu Wildlife Diary – Thursday 14 February 2013

Weather: Can it get any hotter out there ? The temperature was in the mid 30’s again today but thankfully the humidity levels were not high and there was a slight breeze.

The very hot conditions are making life exceptionally difficult at the moment and sightings are few and far between. After 09h30 there was virtually nothing to see. We were fortunate earlier on when a huge bull elephant came lumbering down the road towards us near Masinda. We had to take evasive action as he seemed intent on walking right over us.

Umfolozi Big Five sightings: Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings: Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino.

General Game: Warthog, Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe etc.

Till the next sighting!!!
