EuroZulu Wildlife Diary – Tuesday 20 May 2014

Beanies, blankets & hot coffee were in big demand this morning as we started out !! It was very cold initially but then it turned out to be a beautiful Autumn day until the wind kicked up towards mid morning.

We had good bird, rhino & giraffe sightings as well as plenty of general game including wildebeest, warthogs, zebras, baboons & antelope. Elsewhere in the Park there were reports of lion and wild dog sightings.

Sometimes we tend to focus on the animals rather than the natural beauty of the landscape in this reserve and for us this morning the highlight were the beautiful Autumn hues that were breath taking especially in the soft morning light around 6.30 a.m.
