Weather: Cool early on but warm to hot later with a gentle breeze.

A good day today, excellent general game early morning and then a brief leopard sighting near marker 24 in the south. We had two separate elephant herd sightings and towards mid morning some sleeping lions were spotted near Bkekaphansi Pan. Encouragingly there were also good rhino sightings for the first time in a long time.

Umfolozi Big Five sightings: Leopard, Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings: Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino.

General Game: Warthog, Wildebeest, Baboon, Zebra, Giraffe etc.
