EuroZulu Wildlife Diary – Tuesday 5 March 2013

Tough times at the moment. Although there were isolated wild dog sightings and a couple of elephants here and there the sightings in general over the past few days have been scarce and not very good. We did, however, get a good hyena sighting on the corridor road early this morning. It seems as though the animals have all been laid off or sent on leave in lieu of work ! Not one rhino sighting today but a couple of small buffalo herds near marker 25 in the south.

Umfolozi Big Five sightings: Elephant, Buffalo… and hyaenas.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings: Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo.

General Game: Warthog, Wildebeest, Zebra, Baboon, Giraffe, Antelope etc.

Till the next sighting!!!
